Lamp safety and handling
Q-SUN xenon arc testers produce ultraviolet (UV) light along with visible and infrared (IR) irradiance. During normal operation, users will not be exposed to UV light. Xenon lamps should be handled carefully during installation.
Xenon-arc lamps from Q-Lab come with an industry-leading warranty when used in Q-SUN xenon arc testers. Achievable irradiance levels and warranties are detailed in the links below:
Lamp warranties for Q-SUN testers require an updated UC20 or CR20 calibration within the past 12 months.
Return any lamps not meeting the warranty criteria to Q-Lab, shipping costs prepaid, for full replacement. This is a full warranty and is never reduced or prorated based upon percentage lifetime achieved.
Liability is limited to replacing any lamps which are defective in materials or workmanship and are returned to our factory, shipping costs prepaid. Liability in all events is limited to the purchase price paid. Damage due to accident, abuse or poor laboratory conditions is not covered. Labor cost is not covered. Q-Lab Corporation makes no other warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, except as may be expressly provided by Q-Lab Corporation in writing. Q-Lab Corporation shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential, special or contingent damages arising out of the sale or use of any product.
