He has been with Q-Lab for over 15 years and has in-depth knowledge of all Q-Lab products and services.

This class includes a short presentation about the tester itself followed by a hands-on session with the tester itself. Discussion points on how to safely handle the tester, an a explanation of the components of the tester, how to set up a test, and how to perform regular calibrations and maintenance.

Q-Lab will inspect the installation of the tester to ensure that the requirements for the tester are met. This inspection will review the conditions of the room that the tester is placed in, verify that proper utilities are provided, and that the tester is set up in a proper manner. Passing the tester commissioning will extend the warranty of a new tester by an additional year.

We'll provide basic training on the science of weathering. This presentation will cover what weathering is, what factors are important to weathering, architectures used for outdoor and accelerated weathering testing, and howto put together an effective weathering program.

This presentation will cover what corrosion is, explain the mechanisms behind atmospheric corrosion, cover the history and development of key accelerated corrosion standards, and provide guidance on how to establish an effective accelerated corrosion testing program.
